      Hi,

      I'm a newbie.

      I've bought a 1Up Pi-Boy XL which uses a Raspberry Pi 3B+.

When I go into the menus the text is so tiny I have to hook it up to a monitor via hdmi.

I pressed F4 to get to the terminal screen and entered the required commands, also I tried to look at all the fonts but without seeing that the fonts are I'm fighting a losing battle.

The screen is 4.3 inch screen.

Any font recommendations would be appreciated.

      Thank you in advance.

For console fonts, see https://retropie.org.uk/docs/FAQ/#how-can-i-increase-the-console-font-size. For Emulationstation, choose a minimal theme like CRT Centered or the - recently added - [MiniJawn theme](link url).

@mitu I'm not sure if I stated correctly what I was trying to do.

Basically I'm trying to make the text on the dos type screen larger to make it readable on the Pi-boy.

I'm not trying to make the games appear larger as I already know how do this. At present I'm having to connect my 1UP Pi-Boy XL to a monitor so I can assess the settings screens.

My GPI Case doesn't have this issue.

I'm trying to find an image on the Pi-Boy that is set up in such a way that I don't need to connect it to a monitor to read and change settings as required.

          Thanks in advance.

that’s what the console font link above achieves. (“console” in this context = dos type screen)
