Pi Model or other hardware: Rasberry Pi 3B+
      RetroPie Version: 4.5.1
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
USB Devices connected: SanDisk Cruzer Blade 64Gb

      Hi, guys.

I'm experiencing some weird behavior from retropie when trying to add new games to my library and I'm wondering if it's a known issue. I'm running my games from a USB drive using the retropie-mount function described at the github wiki.

I have a relatively small library of games (less than 500) working from different systems (even dreamcast and playstation that people usually have problems getting to work). My issue is, when I try to add new games, they do not work. I tested the new roms on a fresh mount and they work flawlessly. The problem only seem to happen when I try to add new games after some time using the same USB mount.

The games I had before continue to work after I add the new ones.

The issue is persistent. Happened 3 times already with 2 different USB drives (one formatted FAT32 and the other ExFAT).

      Have anyone experienced this before?

      Thanks!

          Sorry for being vague.

The games go through the usual runcommand launch menu, then black screen, then back to games list.

The runcommand log for a nes game look like this:

          Parameters:
          Executing: /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch -L /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-fceumm/fceumm_libretro.so --config /opt/retropie/configs/nes/retroarch.cfg "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/nes/Metroid (USA).zip" --appendconfig /dev/shm/retroarch.cfg

And for a PSX game look like this:

          Parameters:
          Executing: /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch -L /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-pcsx-rearmed/pcsx_rearmed_libretro.so --config /opt/retropie/configs/psx/retroarch.cfg "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/psx/Alundra.PBP" --appendconfig /dev/shm/retroarch.cfg

Both these games work on a fresh mount, but not on my current library.

          Thanks.
