      Got a raspberry pie 3b starts up great and I'm getting the emulation crashed screen looped. How do I get out of it.

        What does the crash message say ? Did you enable the experimental OpenGL driver by any chance ?

          @mikeahays could be your power supply. I had this happen with a junk power supply. Maybe it's a different problem in your case.
