      @jamiem1976
      It appears you are using a recalbox image instead of a retropie image. You might want to ask your question on their forums instead.

      @diotialate said in Linux 4.19.970v71 noob:

      As a post-mortem, it looks like everybody ignored my "recycle bin" question probably because it was "too stupid to ask," but I think answering the question would've connected the dots together.

      For what it's worth, I didn't know 100% for sure the answer to this, although I had a good idea. A simple google search of "does linux have recycle bin" turned up a couple of easy fast answers. The answer is from a command line, no there isn't one. Many desktop distros do present a "trash" container that you do need to empty.

      Please try to be patient while you are receiving free remote tech support like this. We want to help you succeed, but it is harder when we can't sit down at the console in person.

      After the installation of Retropie, you can check this thread about Where to (legally) acquire content to play on RetroPie.

      set you controllers up again (only one) in emulation station make at the end you set your hot key to your select button dont skip it. Also unplug your joypad as its select button is probably different from what your have on your dragonrise and thats whats probably set atm

      If that fails we can check what is in your config to see whats going wrong.

      Hi! I am sorry to hear that! We tested the PowerBlock with quite a few extension boards and that should not happen at all.
      Please contact me via email or webform (https://www.petrockblock.com/contact/) so that we can arrange a replacement.

      @mikeahays could be your power supply. I had this happen with a junk power supply. Maybe it's a different problem in your case.

      I thought RetroPie did everything for you...but this is coming from a guy that has "built 'em by hand" for 20 years....

      RetroPie does make it easier..but Linux halts a lot of that stuff for noobies...

      what we need is an "ArcadeOS" (no not minwah's DOS frontend (Yes i go back that far)) or a "EmulationsOS"..
