ScummVM Controlller Issues
-
it all good, lol
--evdev-keymap KEY_#305=a,KEY_#304=b,KEY_#307=x,KEY_#308=y,KEY_#310=tl,KEY_#311=tr,KEY_#314=back,KEY_#315=start \
this is your keymap for the controller.
now with
--ui-buttonmap a=BTN_LEFT,b=BTN_RIGHT,start=KEY_F5,back=KEY_ESC \
you map what said buttons will do
again im still messing with the dpad

@escc1986 perfect
-
how does it look ... did i do it right ?
-
its a start.
now we need to get it to work. -
i dont know why the buttons are not correctly working
i dont understand
we didnt map the 2 top buttons l button and r button
L = Space
R = f5
what is going on with this controller
-
the f5 you do. thats how you bring up the menu in scrumm to save and quit
-
yeah the f5 button is very importyant , your right
i just dont see how f5 is mapped to the
R Button
i didnt map
R button
or
L button
do you know why they are mapped .. and the other button are not mapped
TL2 = SELECT
TR2 = START
on my controller under test menu (evtest /dev/input/event0)
-
video of showing you
-
--ui-buttonmap a=BTN_LEFT,b=BTN_RIGHT,start=KEY_F5,back=KEY_ESC \
this came from my setup, since you need these for play anywaysthe rest is on you
--evdev-keymap BTN_EAST=a,BTN_SOUTH=b,BTN_[•]=x,BTN_[•]=y,BTN_[•]=lb,BTN_[•]=rb,BTN_TL2=back,BTN_TR2=start
BTN_[•]
this just means its blank till you add what button goes to itthis is what you have
so far the buttons you have mapped are btn east and south, and your TL buttons
thx for the vid.
this is a good thing cuz it is working, we just need to get the keys to do what we want
the big part is getting the dpad to work.
bad part is my xdrive is now not working. so i cant test it on mine just yet
