Amiberry input problems
-
Hi - trying to get Amiberry working properly.
RPi 3B+
RetroPie 4.5.1
Amiberry 2.25
IPAC keyboard controller
Happ Trackball
NO gamepad/controllerI have an IPAC keyboard controller and a Happ Trackball. I've successfully managed to assign the IPAC to joy0 for joystick games, but unsure how to get the following working: -
- I can only seem to set a hotkey for exiting the emulator as a single key. I cannot use a hotkey. I have read you can do this with a controller/gamepad, but I'm assuming this is not possible with a keyboard controller such as the IPAC? For example I have my retroarch hotkey set as num5 on my IPAC, and exit combo as num5+num1 (this works in the lr-emulators):
input_enable_hotkey = "num5" input_enable_hotkey_btn = "nul" input_exit_emulator = "num1" input_exit_emulator_btn = "nul"

I tried to save a specific config for a specific game - which works, but you can't change which retroarch.cfg file it reads in. You can change it in the Amiberry GUI along with other settings, but it doesn't save it to the .uae file. I need this because I want different IPAC keyboard joystick mappings for certain games (e.g. the default for firebutton is LCTRL, but in Turrican/Turrican2, LCTRL pauses these two games making them unplayable). Is it possible to specify per-game retroarch.cfg for Amiberry? Or is there another way to do this?

I have an IPAC keyboard controller, but also a Happ Trackball. Amiberry picks the trackball up lovely as the mouse, but I need to be able to map the mouse buttons to inputs on the IPAC, e.g. specific keypresses. I have no idea how to simulate mouse button presses. Is this possible?
Thanks

Hi
Anyone have any clues about these issues?
I've had to resort to lr-puae for some games due to these issues, but that has its own problems too (can't seem to use trackball as a mouse).
Any help on the above appreciated.
Thanks
