Pi Model or other hardware: Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+
      Power Supply used: 5V, 2,5A
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.6
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website - Filename: retropie-buster-4.6-rpi2_rpi3.img
      USB Devices connected: Cherry Keyboard
Controller used: Diswoe Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch (https://www.amazon.de/Diswoe-Wireless-Controller-Bluetooth-einstellbarem-schwarz-1/dp/B07TRQH45S)

      Hi there,

I am having trouble to connect the mentioned Controller via Bluetooth. I can connect the Controller by holding down the Homebutton for a few seconds, then the Player LEDs are blinking fast. The System sees the Controller and I can connect, so it seems. The LEDs dont stop blinking, like it has trouble to indicate the Player Number or something like that. If I take a look in the Connected Device List the Controller is listed with the Alias "Pro Controller".

If I go back to Emulationstation and want to configure the Inputs, there is the Message, that one Gamepad is available, but if I press any Button on the Controller it doesnt recognize it.

Under /dev/input/ I have a js0, but I also tried it with jstest and no success. The Controller is recognized with the Alias "Pro Controller" but no Button has any effect.

If I connect the Controller via USB it works just fine, but no success via Bluetooth.

Bluetoothctl is also showing that the Controller is paired, trusted and connected.

I dont know what to do. Maybe someone here can help me with some new ideas.

      Greetings
      Bam

        Hey Bam,

Did you ever get this working in the end? I have the exact same issue, same controller as yourself but running on a Pi4.

Wondering if it can be solved or if I should look at purchasing another controller.

        Thanks!
