      Hi,
I have used retroarch to map my ps4 contoller to emulators on retropie. It is fine on Snes, Mame, Sega etc but does not work on Neo Geo and FBA games. I cannot even appear to get into the retroarch menu once I have started a game to change it. All I can do is get back to the menu by pressing L2 & R2 at the same time.
      Help please?
      Thanks

Probably because you are using pifba, which is not a retroarch core. With all its hacks it shouldn't be called fba either actually.
Except if you have a good reason to stay with pifba (are you on a pi0/pi1 ?), it's recommended to use the latest iteration of the fbalpha emulator, which is actually called fbneo now.

Did you configure your controller in EmulationStation ? The configuration you set there should create automatically the configuration for RetroArch - so you don't need to re-configure it again in each libretro core.
How did you install RetroPie ?
