Pi4 upgrade question
-
Hi, I bought a Pi4 4gb a few months ago and did a manual install following the instructions on here. I pretty much have it running exactly how I want with no issues.
If I wanted to upgrade to 4.6 should I just update through the menu or build from a new image and copy my custom settings across? Wondered if the new image thats supports the Pi4 would have additional config in than just updating through the menu.
The thought of trying to copy over all the customisations I've made to a new image kinda fills me with dread as I've a lot of custom config files for leds, controllers, rom specific settings etc and not sure I know where all of them are.
