Roms Mame And FBA directly at 90 °

Hi all,
I have a big problem under retropie crt evo rpi3b with Mame and FBA games.
In fact the vertical games do not launch correctly but directly at 90 °.
The image is therefore turned to the right and this for all vertical games. How to set the automatic orientation when launching games to have them normally and not oriented at 90 °?

I have the same concern with a sd that I make myself under the last version of retropie, therefore the problem does not come from retropie crt evo but well from retropie itself.

i have an rpi3b with aukru power supply.
I have version 4.5 of retropie with only roms Mame and FBA on a sd 32go.
Logitech USB controller.
The roms are reversed for vertical games.Does that fulfill your conditions? Thank you

@cyclair Probably not enough. The link clearly asks for some logs and config files so that we aren't pulling things out of thin air. To be clear, with pretty much thousands of people running and playing vertical games on the official image, especially on the RPi3B that's been around for quite a while, I would vouch for the fact that what you're facing is pretty much configuration issues from that exact image.
But do share more details per the link shared above - type of screen you're using, etc.
