      Pi Model - Pi 4 4gb
      Power Supply used - Canakit
      RetroPie Version Used - 4.6.2
Built From - Weekly dev build 4.5.13 updated to 4.6.2
USB Devices connected - Keyboard dongle
      Controller used - 8bitdo SF30 pro

I have the latest binary. It seems to happen quite reliably with 2xtreme, but other games are okay. It was happening with Chrono Trigger but not as on cue like 2xtreme.
      Here's the log of 2xtreme. https://pastebin.com/qWk5u5tk
Here's the log of Chrono Trigger. https://pastebin.com/tKm08HmR

Let me know if there's any info you need. Thanks.

Not all games working fine with lr-pcsx_rearmed emulator . I try 2xtreme and it crashes too. You can add the games that have compatibility problems here : https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/4029/ps1-games-that-have-bugs-in-retropie/131?_=1593836909329
By the way, the psx version of Chrono Trigger have battle and menu load times issues, give a shot of snes version.

        A suggestion about crashes :

The actual saving in the game file(.srm) is done at the exit from the emulator and not when you choose to save from inside the game.
For example, if you play 3 hours in a row Chrono Trigger and you have done multiple saves during this time, if the game crashes before you exit the emulator you will lost all the progress. So, it's a good practice to set-up autosave_internal, with this enable the game will write to .srm file while is running.

You can change this from from retroarch.cfg file or from rgui , it's disable by default. I have put mine to 600 (measured in seconds). This means if the game crash i will loose only the last 10 minutes from the last save . Don't use low values to avoid performance issues.

My English isn't at a good level.

Vagrant Story has a bug with lr-pcsx_rearmed in that the game won't recognize its own save file checksums sometimes and it won't let you save the contents of your Container, losing anything you have put into it. You can still save your game progress though. I recommend Save States, but sometimes it will crash when you go to save state...

System Config: Retropie 4.4 with full desktop, RPi 3B, 256gb SD, 5v 2.1A 5,200 mAH USB battery. EasyMSX controller mounted with Pimoroni Hyperpixel 4 (non touch). Also running 4.6 on a 4gb Pi 4 serving as my primary desktop computer now.
