RetroPie Issues with keyboard input and Wifi on Emulation Station
-
So a few days ago I bought a Raspberry Pi 3B+ and a Raspberry Pi Retro Arcade Game Console from my local Jaycar, along with a pre-compiled version of RetroPie and I've hit a brick wall. I'm trying to connect to wifi via the Retropie Setup menu, so I can download additional emulators, however I can't enter the Wifi password to my network because it won't read the keyboard. However when I try and configure the keys for the keyboard using the GPIOnext keyboard configuration, the keyboard doesn't register. I tried getting around that by seeing if I could simply remove the MicroSD card from the Raspberry Pi and manually transfer a wifikeyfile.txt file that I made in notepad to the SD card, but Windows 10 doesn't recognise the SD card, which tells me that the file format is now incompatible with Windows.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks.

We don't support 3rd party images - image your sd card with the image from retropie.org.uk/download. We don't know how the sdcard you purchased was configured or pre-installed with RetroPie.
