-

One question I need to ask , I did notice no sound again with the fresh install
Should I click audio
- Default
Or

( my tv is connected through HDMI )
-
@escc1986
its on my default in my pi . -
Great news !!!!
after a fresh reinstall
the game works with sound ...
but ....
i seem to get this issue every time around the 3rd - 4rd stage
does this occur with yours when you play ?
any tips or advice ?
-
sorta off topic ... but, i just play the 3DO version of Mad Dog McCree with the lr-opera emulator (in Retropie 4.6 on RPI4)
Works fine, no complicated setup or problems ... just copy the iso/bin cue into the 3do folder, restart emulationstation and just play

I really need to get a Pi 4 :)
You'll be glad you did :) ... i got a Pi4 only a few weeks ago and am really happy with all the new games i can play on it compared to my Pi3 which couldn't or struggled to run.
I'm kinda partial to the original "Crime Patrol" ... 3DO version runs good, but the Sega Saturn Prototype "Crime Patrol" is even better ! shoot and reload is button A and B (no moving the gunsight down to the bottom of the screen to reload) ... a lot easier to play :)
-
@escc1986
didn't really finish level 1 ;) -
It's not too bad to pass the level 1 section
I first kill the 2 guys behind the old man
Then head to the salon stage ... patten of guys are easy and the same (total of 6 guys in stage )
Then go to the sheriff , easy patten of guys and you kill like 3 guys in that stage (total of 3 guys in stage)
Then the bank .... a little tricker ...cause of Switch of patterns (total of 6 guys ... however repeated men to make an appearance one more round so maybe a total of 12 kills or less )
So between the start of the game with the old guy - to the bank
I always get that PP sound glitch
Someone online mentioned they did a reinstall and changed Siund blaster 16 to Soundblaster Pro .... they said the PP sound issue stopped .... I tried the method and still got the issue
Try those stages and see if you encounter that PP sound ?

The only reason I want the American Laser Games on dos box , because the Dolophen bar air mouse support ... I just got a dolphin bar yesterday and have my Wii mote connected to it with a gun attachment so it's a nice light gun set up
I hear it works for Pi 4 as well ... which I want and hope for a Pi 4 ... I just don't know if the dolphin bar is supported on the 3DO Emulator
I love the 3DO plus all the rare light gun games that only got released on there (besides PC)
I'm so happy that you confirmed that 3DO actually works on the Pi 4 , I thought the Emulation wasn't going to be up to par , but your testimony to it tells it all , Thank you for that .... makes me want one even more now lol ^_^
You can also play Sega Saturn on it , NOW I HAVE HEARD EVERYTHING, wow pretty impressive Pi ... yeah I bet your enjoying the new games ... lucky you and it's nice to hear you mentioned this to me , I was very ignorant about the Pi and wasn't sure , but thanks to the info
Crime patrol prototype , now that sounds cool for the Saturn , had no idea .... is it the full game or bits and pieces ?

It seems to be ... weighs in at 532MB, haven't made it past Rookie, but will have to find the time one day to have a longplay
-
that sounds great
when you play through it , please let me know :)
just curious what is your pi4 .. 4gb or 8gb ?
any places to find it for a good price ?
-
I have a question for you since you enjoy light gun games like myself
I have a goal I would like to accomplish
I don't know how , I'm going to do it , but I'm going to need someone to help and do it first then teach
My goal is
I Want to Be Able To Play Light Gun Games on the PI with The PS Move Controller / With PS Eye
Sounds pretty cool , I think but I see no one has interest in it as I have posted a few posts about if anyone could get it to work In retropie and that could teach me
Well if your interested that would be amazing
Let me know
Thank you
