Unable to boot after backing up sd-card
-
I have set up my RetroPie with all the systems I want. A friend at work wanted a copy of my SD-card in order to quickly get started.
Both are using Raspberry Pi 4. Both SD-cards are 128 GB (mine is SandDisk, his is Verbatim). I used ApplePiBaker to make the image and copied it to the other card.
My friends card didn´t work in his or mine RPI. And my card didn´t work in his or mine RPI after the backup.
See attatched screenshot for the message I get when trying to boot my card on my RPI. Any input would be of great help.

I had a similar problem with mine, but I'm not entirely sure what solved it. I'll just talk you through what I tried before mine managed to start working.
Assuming you still have a way to get an image of the card, you can use balena etcher (available on MacOS) or a windows machine/windows emulator like parallel desktops and use win32diskimager.
Just make sure to use disk utility to erase the cards you will use beforehand.
The next option is getting a fresh sd card with a fresh version of retropie and checking if that works. Here's a link to info related to saving from the docs that could help. Good luck
