Im Thinking Of Buying A Pi 4

2gb or 4gb ? which option is better for gaming

i have heard 2gb can get you by ... but should the 4gb be better ?

will , 3DO games , n64 games , CDI games Run faster or better performance with a 4gb or is 2gb will be fine ruining those harder to run games just the same ?

You can get any model, the emulation performance will not be influenced by how much memory is present on the Pi.

@escc1986 hey Saturn dude, your the same dude asking for Saturn, pi4 is at a level where it still needs it's shoes on to run faster(sonic shoes) so on, investigate first more, what will it do for you, will it play Saturn yes but not full speed, Virtua cop thoses games vary level easy runs slow level 2 runs bit faster but for enjoyable. Die hard is playble, but this is with the emulator lr-yabasanshiro not yabause don't mix em up.
Make sure you see what it does for you.

If you are not a heavy Desktop user, the 4 or 8gb won't be of any benefit for you. If you are just gaming on Retropie the 2gb will do it all.

System Config: Retropie 4.4 with full desktop, RPi 3B, 256gb SD, 5v 2.1A 5,200 mAH USB battery. EasyMSX controller mounted with Pimoroni Hyperpixel 4 (non touch). Also running 4.6 on a 4gb Pi 4 serving as my primary desktop computer now.
