Cannot start two player game in Tommy Lasorda Baseball
-
Hi all, here is my info first:
Raspberry Pi 3B+
RetroPie 4.6
Emulator: lr-genesis-plus-gx or lr-picodrive
RetroArch 1.8.5 - Genesis Plus GX (v1.7.4 5055106) or PicoDrive (1.92 600894e)I have found that when I run Tommy Lasorda Baseball (there may be others), I cannot start the game in two player mode. At the title screen where it says to "PRESS START", pressing start on the Controller 2 does nothing, however once the game is in demo mode pressing start on Controller 2 brings it back to the title screen. So it's recognizing the input from the controller, but for some strange reason, it doesn't seem to work at the title screen.
If someone else has this ROM can they give it a try to see if they can duplicate the issue or offer any advice?..I've tried it both with genesis-plus-gx and picodrive cores. I've also changed the input from "Joypad Auto" to "MD 3 button joypad" but neither one works.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You haven't mentioned what controllers are you using - as part of the information asked. How many controllers does RetroArch see ? Do other 2p games work ?

@mitu Sorry for failing to mention those details, yes other games work in two player, I just tried another two player game by pressing start on controller 2 at the title screen and it started a two player game.
The controllers are both 8bitdo SN30 Pro+ using bluetooth.

@mitu nevermind, I figured out the problem. You have to go to "Exhibition Game" to play two players..LOL :).. Thanks for your help.
