I am trying to save "Threaded Video" option to on within my RetroPie arcade machine, as I am getting some static when I changed the shaders. For some reason, its not letting me save. It defaults back to off. What can I do?

Slowdown means the system is not powerful enough to run the emulator and the that particular shader at the same time.
RetroPie sets 'Threaded video' by default, so it shouldn't need to be turned on. If you still want to change it, use the Configuration Editor to toggle it.

It works good on certain games but not good on others.

I'm mainly getting some minor static
when I edit the shaders. Games look amazing but some have static in sound

@cra99 then your edit is making the shader more performance intensive. it's normal that different games have different requirements.

How would I go about doing that?

@cra99 do what? you edited the shader params and now they're performing badly, right? so edit them back to how they were, no?

Nervermind. Thanks for the tone. By the way, I was able to figure it all out with shaders and no lag.
