      Hi

I was about to add scraped videos and noticed I had very little space left on my sd card. I had all roms on the sd card from start, then added a ssd disk. I have kept the os and scraped media on the sd card, so I don’t use the ssd to boot from. I know where to find to roms stored on the ssd but not on the sd card. Also tried searching for it in the forums and documentation but can’t find an answer to it.

So where can I delete the roms from sd card only, keeping them on the ssd? I guess new roms will per default be stored on the ssd, and not copied to sd card first and the to ssd, keeping the original file on sd card...?

      Thanks

Don’t think it’s relevant in this case, but I’m running rpi4 (Nespi 4 case with ssd) with sd card image from retropie, 4.72 and USBRomService.

If you're using an external disc for the ROM folder, the similar folders on the sdcard are not shown, since the roms folder is now mounted from the disc. If you wish to access them, boot without the external disc connected.

@mitu Thanks, didn’t think of that. Was looking for a sd-card mount without success... :)

@mitu By the way, can I safely delete the roms on the sd card and still have the external disc untouched, or will the folders sync and delete the missing files from the external disc?

@stuffu if the USB is NOT connected, you can safely delete any rom on the SD

@dankcushions perfect! That saved me a lot of time since I deleted some content before I started to think of possible consequences :)
