      Hi,

      have setup my rasperrypi 3B+ with the latest raspberrypi buster image and installed raspbian 4.72. Emulator and Roms are working and I set shader hotkey to my PS4 Controller (Hotbtn+Up / Down). Changing works without problem but the settings will not saved, no matter if I set Save on Exit = on in retroarch or set it hard in config file

      /opt/retropie/configs/snes/retroarch.cfg
      ......
      video_shader = "zfast_lcd_standard.glslp"

      After restarting Emulationstation and start a snes games, the shader settings are lost and video shader setting entry are emty.

      video_shader = ""
      video_shader_delay = "0"
      video_shader_dir = "~/.config/retroarch/shaders"
      video_shader_enable = "true"
      video_shader_watch_files = "false"

      What can I do to set an Emu or a Core wide shader in snes or any other libretro emulator ?

      Regards,
      Frank

        Try this way :

        Retropie > Configuration editor > option 1 > choose emulator and set to True the "Video Shader enable" and then from "Video Shader file" choose the shader you want.

        From my experience, avoid to save settings through the RetroArch menu because it's change the retroarch.cfg file with a bad way, better use the Configuration editor .

        My English isn't at a good level.
