Howdy... So got a couple of xbox type controllers to use with N64, PSP and the like. In the RetroPie / RetroArch main config I have the bind order as Xarcade 1, Xarcade 2 , Logitech Joystick and then xbox 1 and 2. Most emulators this is a good order. I figured config the global settings to something that most of the time will be good and override the specific emus and / or games that need a different config. I have arcade game overrides working fine like swapping in the flight stick on 1942 or Tron.

Ok... so the problem.... I go into N64, launch a game. On the Xarcade 1 hotkey+x to get into retroarch, go to input, reorder the inputs to have the xbox controllers as bind 1 and 2 then the rest after that. Go to Controls then Save Game Core Override. Says it saved. Exit RetroArch. Launch the game.. It says core override loaded and... nothing. The controllers are still in the main RetroArch order. A side note... If I do NOT exit RetroArch and chose to resume the controller order works. It's just not there when you exit and come back.

What did I miss / do wrong here?
