-
Hey everyone,
I thought about getting a Raspberry Pi for retropie.
I read some topics here and on the offical website.I want to play Most the time SNES and N64 Games.
So here are my Questions:-Which Raspberry Pi should i get? A 3B or a 4?
- If i Take a Raspberry 4 is it nessecary to pick a 8GB RAM?
- Is GameCube Emulation available? I saw a document on the Website that GameCube is supported.
Im a real beginner at Raspberry so im thankful for all of your answers.
Greetings

4 will be better for n64, but note performance is variable across all Pi hardware

no, no emulation advantage in the higher ram models.

I've owned The Raspberry Pi 3 B+ for a while and the Raspberry pi 4 4gb that I own right now is the one I prefer. If you do go with the RPI4 i do recommend you get heatsinks and a case with a small fan. If you are just doing non demanding emualtors then the RPI 3B should be fine. But with N64 I recommend the RPI4.
I do more PS1 and Dreamcast on my RPI4B and they run great. If you need tutorials check this channel out.
