      ...
      Outrun
      Ridgeracer
      Spyhunter
      Chase HQ

Have been searching for them but have had no luck no far, but if none of them work via a Pi at least I can give up the hunt!

outrun and spyhunt work for me in FBNeo, don't know about the other two. You can make it work with a SNES pad but ideally you'll want to use a modern controller with analog sticks and triggers for steering/throttle.

@Colstar I can confirm Chase HQ works. If Ridge Racer doesn't run at full speed you can always play the PS1 version, maybe even the PSP version.

          Currently running:
Retropie 4.8.9 on a Pi Zero 2W (Overclock Settings: CPU 1400Mhz)
          ES-DE on a GMKtec K6 (Windows 11, 32GB RAM)

@colstar For the Outrun I suggest using the https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Cannonball/
Although it runs perfectly on the MAME and fbaneo.

@colstar outrun, for example, i believe works in every arcade (MAME, FBx) emulator in retropie, but as always you need the correct romset from the correct romset version for the emulator you use. if you're searching online for 'outrun rom' you will get a bad experience - you need the complete romset collection with the version number for your arcade emulator of choice: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Arcade/#step-1-choose-your-arcade-emulators

@colstar So I just tried to load them but only one loaded, and that was Outrun although for some reason the car does not respond to my inputs and doesn't move(?)

@colstar if you've got an issue please post a new thread in Help & Support, filling out the full information in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

but i can't stress this enough, for MAME/FBx, you need to be pulling files from the right romset version, for the recommended emulator for your hardware that you are running.
