      Hello Everyone,
I recently purchased a new raspberry pi for a couple of things. Bought a kit so I could use the included desktop to run as a back up pc, etc. Have questions about that but will ask them elsewhere.

I followed the instructions to manually add the retropi and did the updates etc but I'm running into a couple of issues/questions.

      1. I have a few PlayStation games but the PlayStation emulator does not show, but not sure what I am doing wrong, all the others was just drop and go.

      2. has to do with pc games, I am not sure I understand how to get them in and working. what format is is looking for and if i just copy cd's of games thats good until i get to disk games, like most I no longer have disc drives.

      3. does games, similar to pc especially since most of those i have are on disk (assuming they even work after all this time).

      4. this has to do with the mame, there seems to be all sorts of sets out there
the one i am using is .160 but I have .149 and .150, .078, and .238(or something like that). which version is the best to use.

      thanks

      ryan

      raspberri pi 4 8gb version
      128gb sd card
power cord that came with kit, fans, heatsink etc

Hey, regarding your first issue. I guess you need to install the playstation bios first? How and where did you place the psx Roms to your system.

I guess you will benefit by a look into the retropie guides.

https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Playstation-1/ note the supported file extensions for lr-pcsx_rearmed (the default emulator). please supply ALL the info requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first (including verbose log) if you have further issues.

i don’t have experience with this but check the docs https://retropie.org.uk/docs/PC/

          i don’t understand the question?

you choose an emulator then choose the set for that emulator. 0.78 would be appropriate with the default for the mame-libretro folder (lr-mame2003). see https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Arcade/
