      Model B1.4
      POWER sUPPLY: rpI3
      Retropie version: 4.1
Pre existing build, came with device
USB devices; samwa playstaion 3 controller, Logitech leyboard

I boot up with Emulationstation and I enter the details of my controller, it works ok, then I open a menu option or Retroarch and the controller just stops working. I have tried re conencting, bluetooth, but the controller doesn't show up.

Another problem I am having is with my psx games. I load them up and I hear the appropiate sounds and then no display, nothing but a black screen.

@w1ck3rm4n i'm sorry, but we do not support pre-built devices. see https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

i suggest you reinstall retropie on your device as per https://retropie.org.uk/docs/First-Installation/ - I am sure it will work then. your current version of retropie is nearly 5 years old, for a start!

@w1ck3rm4n sure, you will have a default installation without any (copyrighted) games.
Other way: ask the seller of your device to fix the problems or get a refund.
He sold you old sh** that doesnt even work (PSX).
