Back in the day, you had to play Raiders with both joysticks -- one controlled Indy while the other allowed you to choose from your inventory.

Is there anyway to map the inventory selection to, say, the shoulder buttons on a gamepad? I'm thinking the D-pad would control Indy, B would fire/use, L and R would cycle through the inventory, and X would drop.

Sounds sensible to me, but I have no idea how to set that up!

@billydent By coincidence, take a look at You can now play dual stick games on your barcade without being limited to MAME cores, or head directly to Add support for mapping multiple controllers to a single input device ;)

@ashpool Hmm. I don't seem to have "Mapped Port" as an option when I go to Quick Menu > Controls > Port 1 (or 2, for that matter).

I updated Retroarch. Not sure what I'm missing.

@billydent AFAIK this feature will be available in one of the future releases of retroarch, but is not implented in the current v1.9.5

@billydent Horizon has arrived, the multi-mapping feature is now available with the new v1.9.6.
(maybe we have to wait a couple of days until the retropie-script has been updated to this new RA-Version)

@sirhenrythe5th Hmm... It's been more than a few days, but when I update RetroArch, all I get is 1.9.5. Am I doing something wrong?
