I'm trying to map the disc throwing buttons in Tron Deadly Discs to my right analog stick of my PS3 controller. So far, I've gotten almost everything to work, except that whenever I make a diagonal disc throw using JS5A_NE, JS5A_NW, JS5A_SE, JS5A_SW, the inputs break and Tron is no longer controllable properly. I write them like this:

      JS5A_SE PD0L_KPE
      JS5B_NE PD0L_KP3

Oddly, mapping the straight directions (N,E,S,W) work with no problem.

Rpi3, latest Retropie and jzintv from source. This actually occurs on every controller, even the simpler buffalo control pads (where I tried using the d-pad axes for the disc buttons). For whatever reason, only the diagonals break it.

xboxdrv, while working well otherwise, sadly does not fix this issue. Any axis mapped to a diagonal disc throw button will mess up the player input until I quit and reload the game.

Note: If I have to, I guess I could work around this by using button combos (and dpad-as-button, via xboxdrv) instead of axes, but I'd sure like to be able to use an analog stick for this if possible.
