I just bought a couple Brawler 64 wireless controllers and intended to use them with the Hyperkin n64 usb adapters which worked for the standard n64 controllers, but the retropie doesn't receive input from this combination.

The retropie can detect the Hyperkin adapter in the Configure Input menu option regardless of whether or not the Brawler 64 controller is plugged in, so I have no indication the system gets any signal from the controller.

Is there anything I can do to use these controllers?
I'm using retropie version 4.7.1 on a Raspberry Pi 4B.

Other users had issues with the previous revision of the controllers here, but in your case the issue may be the Hyperkin n64 usb adapter.
Is the adapter switched to PC mode ? Does it work with a Windows PC with the Brawler controllers ?

@mitu the toggle was set to "PC", but I tried both settings just in case and there was no difference.

I also downloaded an app to test input from controllers and got no signal, so I guess that settles it...
