Skyscraper Woes - please remind me how...

Bit of an annoying one but can someone please remind me what I do with the config file for skyscraper . I know I'm supposed comment out or uncomment (same thing?) my username and password. Tried this few times in different ways but when I go to scrape stuff it still says Im an anonymous user with one thread when I joined 2 years ago and have 6 threads. I got it to work when I did it in 2020 but I think it was more luck than anything else. Do I change my thread count to 6 in the paragraph? Or does it know I have 6 already. All the lines being with semi-colons. Is this right? Am i suppose to put hashtags in front of my username line?

@mitu thanks for replying. I did try that source before I posted but dont think it has what I need. It just goes through every line explaining what they all mean. I just needed to know about the commenting out bits. Peace and love

From the said doc:

Just copy the file to config.ini and uncomment and edit the ones you wish to use by removing the # in front of the variables. Remember to also uncomment the section the option relates to such as [main] or [amiga].

@mitu looks like I cracked it but it wasn't the hashtags I removed but the semi colon ; and that seemed to do it. Apologies if the answer was in there but it was a large document and the idea of reading all of it for one piece of information seemed unnessesary. Many thanks

...and then the config was changed to use ; for comments instead of #, which may be a source of confusion.

@sleve_mcdichael well yes that would have helped tremendously :D
it didnt help that I didnt uncomment the [skyscraper] line too. It's something I dont do often to remember the little things so It just gets forgotten. Thanks for weighing in

@hawkes_84 It comes with more experience in config files to recognise or guess the different comment characters as well as section titles in square brackets. 🤓
