      Hi all,
I’m trying to develop a Bluetooth device for my arcade machine based on retropie. I would like to use ESP32 device and NimBLE library. Do you know if it is compatible with retropie Bluetooth stack?

RetroPie doesn't have a 'Bluetooth stack', Bluetooth support comes from the underlying OS - Linux.
Bluetooth is a standard based protocol, as long as you're using the right libraries there shouldn't be an issue. Just check that the version of Bluetooth you're using is supported by the device (i.e. Bluetooth 5 is supported on Pi4, but not on Pi3, etc.).

The device is v5 BT. I would like to create a HID Joystick. So do you think it will pair?
