and then my golden tee chd in /opt/retropie/configs/mame-libretro/image/gtfore06/gtfore06.chd
      ??

Did you ever get Golden Tee Fore! 2006 working? I am very interested in getting this to work and all attempts have been unsuccessful up to this point. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

There is a second challenge--getting the trackball working. I am almost MORE curious about how you accomplish that feat. I have a trackball and 2 spinners working very nicely in Advancemame, but I have been less successful using libretro cores. You won't find support for that ROM in Advancemame, so if you pulled this off, how did you setup the trackball?

sorry gang. no i didn't ever get 2006 working. I had to go back all the way to 2000 to get it working on advance mame. I never bought the trackball but assume it would work for you caver01 since you already have working with your other games

@mseller I realize this is 5 months old, but I am very curious how you got Golden Tee 2000 working on your Raspberry Pi. I have only had luck with the 2D versions working on RetroPie.

Can you please briefly let me know the key to getting the Golden Tee 2000 version to work?

2K works out of the box for me on a Pi3 and RP4.1 with Advmame 1.4 the only thing I had to do was edit the .RC file to enable my "mouse" ie. Trackball on my tankstick.

@mseller hi, you must rename the bios file with the same name as the game itself this is how made it work

@beaulieu80 this is a very old thread. All of the details about getting a trackball working in AdvanceMAME for Golden Tee variants and many other arcade games is detailed in the docs here under Controllers>Trackballs and Spinners
