      Hey chaps,

      Since the legendary Steven Selph scraper is no longer an option for scraping video snaps.
      Is there an "easyer or simular" way to get a hold of the snaps?
      Now the main issue is, i have 234 roms, with the correct 234 videosnaps in.mp4 format. If.... i have to edit the metadata on all files by hand.... my small fingers will start to bleed at the end of the process. Is there some other way this can be achieved without torture?

      Edit: And i would like to point out that 97% of the .mp4 files match the ROM name.

      Pie: PI 4 Model B - 32 GB (RPI4 armv71)
      Retro: 4.8.2

        I donate $1 a month for 50,000 data scrapes a day. I don't miss $1 and it's nice to have it when I want it.

          @ClassicGMR, for 1$ this is pure pleasure....

          How does this work, do they have a scraper you can download for RetroPie?

            Their scraper is here:
            https://www.skraper.net/

            Its quite handy as it allows you to scrape results to a PC rather than the Pi directly. It also has specific RetroPie options.

              Skyscraper also supports the screenscraper.fr database, or can local import your existing videos if you have them already(?).

                  @AtomArne I copied this from reddit and it's how I use it on all my builds now.

                  "Skyscraper supports inputs as command-line arguments or in the config file. Since your credentials should not change from now on, it makes sense to put them in the config file. Edit the file ~/.skyscraper/config.ini and put your login in the [screenscraper] section, like this:

                  [screenscraper]
                  userCreds="Username:Password"

                  (put in the same username and password you use to log in to https://www.screenscraper.fr/ )"
