      Hello all,

Hoping I am detailed enough in this post to get some help on figuring out why some (not all) images are squashed on my marquee lcd which is hooked up to the 2nd HDMI on my pi4.

I am using piemarquee2 to get images to the marquee display.

      https://github.com/losernator/PieMarquee2

      I am using:

      fbset -fb /dev/fb0 -g 1280 720 1280 720

      In my autostart.sh file.

The repo said to do this, I don't even know what it does, should I remove it?

The arcade/ system image attached is 1280x390 (3.28:1) resolution and takes up the full screen.

The game images are 3840x1346(Too big of file size to upload), 1280x400 (below) resolutions and are both squashed. --> This makes no sense to me considering the arcade image above filled up the whole screen

Here is what I know about my marquee monitor (linked below). I've read windows/ most devices will see it as a 1280x720 display even though by dimension it is 1280x390 (3.28:1).

Below is an example of an 3840x1180 (3.25:1) image on the marquee:

Is there anyway to make these images just scale to fit the monitor, or is that what it is doing and I just have a setting messed up somewhere.

My goal is to not go through and resize every image if possible. I understand this may "skew" the aspect ratio on some of them but I am willing to accept that.

Thank you all for any guidance on this.
