      Hi,
I apologise in advance if this post is not in the correct forum.
I’m looking for information on whether it’s possible to play emulation station games and display the marquee for the games on the same single monitor/ tv display. I’m trying to rotate the monitor I have and display all on the same single monitor. I know it’s possible using piemarquee2 script and dual monitors connected to hdmi0 and hdmi1 output ports, but I don’t want to buy a second monitor, unless I really h@v3 to. I currently have a Pi4 and smart tv connected to hdmi0.
If I enable the piemarquee2 script, when retropie loads the main title image and marquee is displayed on the screen and although emulation station loads, you cannot see it as the marquee takes up the entire screen.

Much appreciated and thanks for your help in advance

@mitu It is possible. I just don’t know how it’s done. You might want to check with the guy in this video.

I think they're using a bezel in RetroArch to show the game bezel at the top during gameplay. It's not using Pimarquee(2), which is what I understood you're asking for. You could use a bezel approach (works only in RetroArch) for your idea.
