Hey everyone. I'm new to retro pi and loving it so far, except I've noticed with my sega cd and psx emulators the controls are set up in way that's impossible to play the games and when I try to remap them, nothing changes. It has left on the control pad as the square button (using a PS3 type controller) and the square button as the start button and the triggers are all messed up. I opened up retroarch but everything looks to be right there. I don't know what to do with it. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Can you post your controller file on Pastebin?
        /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-joypads/

        as well as /opt/retropie/configs/psx/retroarch.cfg

Could be that annoying bug that many people faced with the new version. Really what @Floob said; check the following file:

          /opt/retropie/configs/psx/retroarch.cfg

If it has a lot of code you need to delete the file, update the RetroPie Install script, re-install the emulator(s). I had a similar problem with the Genesis emulators and this solved it, I hope it works for you like it did for me.
