Big fan of the Final Fantasy games, want to play FF8 again, but as it's in 3 discs and they're separated in to three different ISOs, I'm wondering how the save/load will work. I've tried "saving" the game through the save points in the game but it says I don't have a memory card installed.

How will I be able to save the game then load it again when I get to the second of third disc?

@sphirst sounds like you're not using a correct bios if you have those messages. see https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/playstation-1#bios

        not tried disc swapping...

@dankcushions Perfect advice, thank you! I've now gone ahead and installed that BIOS

Also, I've found that using eBoot files (.pbp) combine all the discs in to one image file
