PS3 Controller and RetroPie Ports

PS3 Controller works fine, cabled and wirelessly. Running any of the Ports (e.g. Quake 3, Doom, Duke Nukem) and the PS3 controller doesn't respond at all. Am I missing anything?

Because they are not automatically configured like the libretro cores, and need manual configuration (Some may not even support joystick, others may need configuration). If you use the lr-prboom version of doom your joystick should work out of the box.
