@dankcushions So I finally managed to find time to create the FBA res db too; the FBA txt file structure far easier than the mame one... and yes.. excel makes it even easier.
cool! thanks!
BTW your FBA list includes over double number of roms compared to the list provided by @Rion.
yeah FBA is a bit strange with how it treats gamelists. from memory, the .dat files only include working games, but the gamelist/info outputs all games, including ones that only have preliminary emulation (load and then do nothing, mostly) or don't work at all.

is it possible an horizontal versión of "Final Arcade 4:3" with less reflexions?, like "final arcade generic vertical no-scratches"
all works fine. Excellent job.
-
@Rion Is there any change you could make these for 720p please ? It gives bad framerates on a lot of games at 1080p including simple games like 1942 ! (Using a stock speed Pi 3).

I don't know what's going on in that post but thanks anyway.

so with this can i just move the config files to FB Alpha instead of mame2003? will it work?

Hey guys I know this is a bit old, but can anybody please reupload the files as the links seem to be dead and this setup would be great for a project I am working on.
Or if there is a working script that can create the cfg files from the roms folder and using the info from the db to identify the orientation of the screen and then assign either a vertical or horizontal png overlay.
Cheers and sorry for opening an old thread

@rion can you reup? links are dead
-
As previous requests, I'm asking too for some reupload of the 4:3 overlays.. :)

@red2blue, @papinist I think I found something at http://smartretro.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8288
This is the direct link, just in case...
