I am on latest RetroPie using Lubuntu 16.04 x64. I have for my games scraped images and they end on "-image.png/jpg". As far as I know when I enable "Launch menu art" in the setup then I should get a background image in the runcommand screen.
I enabled that option but in my case it did not change the runcommand screen, it is still just a text box.

I didn't inspect it any further yet but just take make sure first: Is this supposed to work on x86/x11? I thought maybe this is related to the framebuffer driver or something like that and will not work on my setup anyway?

      Thanks guys!
