Hello, I've been attempting to get Zdoom up and running I've followed this guide. Here to the teeth but I always end up with the same thing it takes me back to the Ports menu without any error. I've tried compiling from Source and I've tried using the binary image. I'm just about pulling my hair out here trying to get this running. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm simply trying to get it up and running so I can start adding in all the doom mods I have.
      My setup is as follows.
      Raspi 3b.
      Retropie 4.1
Using some 8bitdo Bluetooth controllers but also a simple usb keyboard for command line stuff
      Thanks for everyones help

@Nwoodward Please search the forum before asking for help as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first - if you search for "zdoom" the top topic contains the information which would have saved you time.

@edmaul69 Really? alright I'll give it a try thank you. I see it was fixed two days ago in another thread. I'm sorry that thread did not exist when I originally posted this. I'll get back when I know if its fixed or not and I'll be sure to mark this as solved if it works.

@BuZz ...I have read what you posted and I have searched the forums. I thought my post followed all of the FAQ. I apologize if I made some mistake. I will be sure to post the error log next time.

EDIT: I see it was fixed after I made this post I'm sorry but I cannot time travel at the moment so I don't see how searching the forums would have helped me. This was posted 12 days ago and it seems it was only recently fixed in a topic that was made 6 days ago mentioning the exact same problem.

@Nwoodward have you tried playing the new version? For me many gun shots and punching doesnt register most of the time. Same with opening doors. So i just put on an older version.

@edmaul69 Yeah, I'm having that exact issue. I assume it might have something to do with the polling seems like it happens far more on my Bluetooth Controller. At first I couldn't get any audio working but then I realized I was using the HDMI instead of my external speakers DOH! I'm going to change the video settings around and see if that has any effect.

@edmaul69 You could report that problem here - perhaps it's something they can look into? https://forum.zdoom.org

@BuZz Yeah I might if edmaul69 does not. I'm going to take a look at the changelog so I can at least narrow down what I think might be the issue. I don't have this problem with the Boom engine.
