Launch Raiden II using "lr-fba", others using "lr-mame2003"
-
I just set retropie up a couple of weeks ago and am enjoying playing around with it as well as all the ol' classics from N64, PSX, NES, SNES and MAME. Great software.
Issue: I am using lr-mame2003 for all my MAME roms except for one, Raiden II, which needs lr-fba to work (it only became playable as of 0.154). In order to keep my home screen tidy i.e. get rid of the 'fba' menu in ES, I tried putting the raiden2 ROM into same directory as the other MAME roms. Although it shows up fine, I had hoped to use the run command to specify that Raiden II would open using lr-fba.
Unfortunately, lr-fba is not one of the selectable emulators there (only) lr-mame2003 and lr-mame2010).
Any help / suggestions most welcome, thanks.

@sos_retropie go to /opt/retropie/configs/fba/emulators.cfg and copy the line For the emulator you use for the raiden ii game to work. Then go to /opt/retropie/configs/mamelibretro/emulators.cfg (if you are using mame2003) and add the line from the fba file to this one. Then when you go to boot the game press the button you need to to get into the runcommand options and choose the emulator + rom option and choose the fba option then launch the game.

@sos_retropie You can edit the emulators.cfg, in the specific folder, to add selectable emulators. See this post.

[SOLVED] Thanks to all who replied. As per info the link posted by UDb23, the simplest solution was to move all the roms into the 'arcade' directory. That way, lr-fbalpha is selectable, alongside lr-mame2003. Brilliant!
