@lilbud it doesn't happen here. What version are you using? I'm using 0.78 (mame2003) on raspi2 and I think the movements are "normal". Just like the video posted above.

git clone http://github.com/meleu/shareshould get the two needed files and some others, but they are small files and you can easily delete them.

As did playing on a PC with a D-pad.
Even so, I couldn't beat @meleu 's score! Only 28200 for me this week.
