Hey all! I just got my first pi yesterday, so forgive me if what I say/ ask comes off as a bit noobish. I have always been a big Apple fan, so when I found out BasiliskII was on here I quickly installed it in the retro pie setup menu. After installing it, I threw a performa rom I found online as well as a startup image. I also changed the names of these to mac.rom and disk.img just like the wiki says. However it still won't work, as soon as I press start, it gives me a black screen, then returns to the retropie menu. Is there possibly additional stuff that needs to be set up? Thanks

@raq0915 I have since got it kind of working. The emulator now starts, but I just get a flashing question mark on a floppy disk :/

I have BasiliskII up and running MacOS 8.1. It's been a while now and I haven't found much use for it, as it won't run games in 8-bit color, but I do remember the setup process being simplified by first setting the environment up on a full desktop computer and then transferring the files and settings to the RetroPie install afterwards.

@mediamogul I have been using Basilisk for a while now on my mac so I do have things set up on there. I have tried just taking the disk image and moving it over to the pi, but its still giving me a floppy disk with a question mark.

You'll also need to transfer your the contents of your configuration file on the mac to /opt/retropie/configs/macintosh/basiliskii.cfg. For reference, I'll post the contents of mine below, but yours will of course be unique to the disk image you've already transferred.
