Unable to connect to Wifi Network with Retropie

@BuZz im connecting by Wi-Fi. The network is working for all the devices, even with raspbian but not with retropie

@rachuism Have you booted RetroPie and gone to the main menu and set up wifi for the RetroPie?

I had the same issue with Raspbian and Kodi working just fine. It turned out that after setup I had to go back in the RetroPie settings and set my default keyboard. Since it blanks out the letters I didn't realize at first I was typing it wrong.

@herb_fargus Oh ... The wiki got a massive update. Missed that! Should be time to Ende my journey and come back to home and stop using a tablet for answering forum questions :)

@herb_fargus @cyperghost I already tried with the second method and same problem. I've read somewhere that changing the Password is the solution because it seems it doesnt support certain character. The point is that I have a ton of devices connected to the same router so it would be a hard job changing everything.
My final goal is executing a script developed by adafruit to connect DIY Controllers to Raspberry so my other chance is to figure out how to do so without wifi.

@rachuism at first sorry for delayed answer..... If you hash your password then special chars are hexed and your problems may be solved with your WIFI PW.
You can read this thread and follow instructions.
Here the PW is automatically hashed.You see in the example the passphrease "Secret Key" was hashed to "5bee4223648102a29c09b2b52bbd2fc920c4d90ced9292781477d1bf219b753a"
You can also use this side to generate hashed values..... Be careful! You give your SSID and your PW to a xenos. I tested with the values provided in the thread linked above and the output from wireshark resulted also "5bee4223648102a29c09b2b52bbd2fc920c4d90ced9292781477d1bf219b753a" .... so this works so far!
