Top requested arcade games for overlays

Here's a link to folder in his project that contains all the arcade bezel overlays.

@jdorion Thanks. We are aware of that repository.
Goal is different: my overlays try to get maximum game area (or max scale integer) @ 1080p while the ones you mention aim to recreate "real" arcade feeling, including cabinet with reflexes and scratches (that implies smaller game area). -
@UDb23 - thanks for the clarification, looking forward to trying yours this weekend! :)
-
nr. 9: Dig Dug.
Entirely made with vectors (SVG), it's based on actual arcade bezel artwork and Atari's official arcade game Flyer.
Download it here.
-
I have no time to fully test it now on raspberry, but it should be fine.
Volunteers welcome to install it and post an "in-game" pic here; thanks ! -
@UDb23 I'll test this soon. Looks awesome.
-
-
@HurricaneFan thanx! Looks quite nice.
-
@HurricaneFan How do you make the screen capture ?
-
@UDb23 I use raspi2png to create the screenshot. So load up whatever you want a screenshot of, example I started the dig dug game. Then I ssh to the raspberry pi and type "raspi2png" in the command line and hit enter. Then I transfer that image back to my computer using SFTP.
-
@UDb23 Is there a way for me to add your other overlays to your GitHub repository? So they are all in one place?
-
@HurricaneFan Good to know that raspi2png works nicely with overlays.
Concerning the repository it should be possible but Github is new to me; I have to check.
Did you create additional overlays ?
I suppose you need a github account anyway to allow you to access the repository.
Edit: I misunderstood, you meant my overlays. Yes I will place all of them (old and new) there soon. Just need some free time.
Please check naming conventions proposed by @meleu so that he can write some script in the future to install the overlays automatically.) -
@UDb23 Wow! I didn't noticed you created a repository! Good to know it!
-
@UDb23 By the way, you can use spaces in directory names (as we discussed above). Then
Burger_Time
should beBurger Time
. ;-) -
@UDb23 I've made some Pull Requests to your repository adding some of your files I have here.
I already adjusted the filenames with the conventions we discussed before.
To accept the Pull Requests you have to merge them. On the respective Pull Request page, press the "Merge pull request" button:
-
@meleu Pull requests merged and Burger Time renamed; thanks !
-
@UDb23 said in Top 10 requested arcade games for overlays:
@meleu Pull requests merged and Burger Time renamed; thanks !
Except that BurgerTime should not have a space in its name ;-) check here:
Funny. Some of the marketing materials, cabinet art etc. use BurgerTime, but the owner's manual has a space. Oh well.
-
@caver01 Good Point. Renamed to BurgerTime (no space) as in the game marquee.
-
@UDb23 Is Ms. Pac-Man next on your list of overlays?
-
@HurricaneFan You're lucky. It is already the next in list and almost finished. Will release today.
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
