Another Pi in a snes cartridge
-
I know it's been done before, but when I was seraching it if was possible, I didn't find any build of a Pi in a Pal Snes cartridge.
So if any of you are still wondering if it's possible, yeah it is : phttp://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2017/03/1484522901-img-20161008-184724.jpg
I messed up the plastic while cutting some parts on the inside tho, so be carefull with that

I like projects like this.
There was a neat kickstarter of a similar sort:

@fdr4prez hey who let you in. First byteknight now you... these forums are going downhill fast!! ;) :D
-
@edmaul69 You must've left the door open. Not all of us were born in a barn - HA!!! ;)
Not to derail the thread here too much, how did your Pi Zero in a cart turn out?
-
@fdr4prez great. I just did a pc inside an atari 2600 and a gameboy zero with an original gameboy last week.
@Godwin_Point what is this salty box exactly? I see it has something to do with the pi but i cant read it.
-
@edmaul69 - A pc in an Atari 2600, you say? Now that gets my brain flowing... what about a PC inside a Channel F and if I was handy enough the cart port would be the bluray drive...
-
@edmaul69
I'm in a fighting game association, and I use that pi as a machine for some of our tournaments(Street fighter third strike, Windjammer, Mark of the wolves...)In the fighting game community, the term "Salt" is often use to describe the feeling after a bad loss(being "salty" at your opponent or at the game)
So it's a joke about that, since my machine would be the bringer of salt : o)
-
@Godwin_Point so did you make the box and label or did you get them that way?
-
I made the box and label on paint.net before printing them and and gluing them on cardboard paper, then I folded it like a snes box.
The cartridge was a soccer game that I sacrificed for the process(nobody will miss it tho). I removed the previous label to glue the new one on it.
