Newly Installed Emulators not Displaying, even with ROMS

Pi Model : Raspberry Pi 3 Model B
Power Supply used: 5V - 2.5A
RetroPie Version Used : 4.1.11
Built From: (Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website + Update from Retropie-Setup
USB Devices connected: 8Bitdo NES30 Pro (bluetooth) + Rii Mini i8 wireless (via USB receiver)
Emulator: linapple, coolcv, lr-virtualjaguar, Drastic, lr-Yabause, sdltrs, lr-beetle-vbI have been having a blast since setting up my RetroPie, across most every system it plays, from the glory days of the Atari 2600 and NES up through SNES, Genesis, and even newer systems like Nintendo 64, Playstation, and even Dreamcast. I even managed to get the TurboGrafx CD and PSP working incredibly well.
I am, however, having trouble with a few last systems that will just not show up in EmulationStation after installing them from RetroPie setup and then placing the appropriate roms in the folder each install creates. The following is a list of the systems, emulators, rom formats (and locations within /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/), as well as bios for those that are giving me trouble.
Apple II - linapple, all roms ending in .dsk in the apple2 folder
Colecovision - coolcv, all roms ending in .col in the coleco folder
Jaguar - lr-virtualjaguar, all roms ending in .jag in the atarijaguar folder
Nintendo DS - Drastic, all roms ending in .nds in nds folder
Saturn - lr-Yabause, all roms ending in .iso and .bin in the saturn folder, and saturn_bios in bios
TRS-80 - sdltrs, all roms ending in .dsk in the trs-80 folder, and level2.rom in bios
Virtual Boy - lr-beetle-vb, all roms ending in .vb in the virtualboy folderIt felt like I did everything right, so I went to check out my configuration files in both /home/pi/.emulationstation/es_systems.cfg and /etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg.
None of these systems are listed, despite installing the emulators through RetroPie Setup. However, when I did install them, they created the above mentioned folders for me to place the roms in. I also know I do not have the filter on for showing only scraped games.
Has anyone else encountered this, and if so, how can I solve it? Is there any other information I can provide that would be of use?

if you have this file it is because you created it yourself - it will override the default retropie one at
/etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfgand will not be updated by retropie-setup - you should either remove it, or update it manually from/etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfgyou should also make sure you have parse gamelists only set to off in emulationstation settings.

...and it worked perfectly. Thank you for helping me over the last hurdle in finishing my setup. -
@ray2272 the advantage of having the other one is you can organize all the systems in the order you want. And when you add a new system or update an emulator it doesnt get overwritten. But if you do add a new system you need to copy that new systems info from the es_systems.cfg in /etc/emulationstation/ to the one in /home/pi/

I too added the colecovision & videopac (O2) emulators from the Retropie setup, put a newly formatted USB stick into the Pie and removed it, put it in computer & the new emulators were on the ROMs list.
I transferred ROMs into their respective folder, I tried them zipped (rar) & unzipped. Stuck the USB back into the Pie, waited for it to stop blinking , rebooted the Pie and the new emulators do not show up.
I tried this several times with new sticks etc and it still doesn't work.I have a Pie 3 w the latest install.
I am very new to the Pie etc.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Now for some friendly advice. Please do not resurrect old threads. Things constantly change within RetroPie. What was relevant 4 months ago is not necessarily relevant now. Please start a new thread providing all the requested info.
Also please do not tag admins unless you are directly involved in a conversation with them. -
