@meleu said in Flat Theme (WIP):
@mattrixk Why not try Linux Mint? ;-)
I don't really like the Unix system in general. I hate how everything is permissions based. Also in ubuntu I couldn't find programs that acted they way I wanted them to.
Mostly for this though, I just don't like having to use virtualbox. It's annoying, I can never set it up perfectly, and it takes up too much space on my limited hard drive.

@lilbud they look really good. Anything special for the system view?
-
Can't really think of anything mind blowing. I was just going to have the background and the footer be the 2 shades of (blue?) that you see in the gamelist. Or do what I did in the Material theme and have them be the color of their respective companies. Thoughts?
-
@lilbud Amazing theme! I like a lot! Are you planning to add video support?
-
@lilbud This would be, without a doubt, my favorite rom selection screen of any theme out there.
-
@Nismo I'll burn that bridge when I get to it.
-
New concept for basic view

Preview of the theme running on the Pi,
(sorry for the potato quality)
-
@lilbud Looks cool. You can take screenshots on your pi if you install this script and kick off the command using ssh.
-
@HurricaneFan taking a picture on my phone was quicker, and I didn't have it installed.
-
@lilbud I'm really digging on this theme. Looks great!
-
@lilbud I totally get it, just thought I'd point out a different way of taking screenshots.
-
@HurricaneFan and I already had putty open, since closing the putty window also closes ES.
-
Looks great, keep it up! Gonna keep my eye on this
