      Hi,

Just got my retropi running and configured using a USB for storage. I tested the system before hand with the sdcard storage location and all is good!!

how do the gamelists get populated with the games and locations of your games? Is this something that has to be done manually or is there a tool that can be used to create the lists for each emulator system.

      Thanks,
      Johnny

I would think there has to be tools out there but I am having a hard time locating them. Either they are outdated, links are broken or the tools are buggy.

I have a collection of roms (rather large), I want to scrape metadata but I have my own images, videos, boxart and wheel/marquee art. There has to be a tool out there to help me generate the xml files I need.

Best I found is a powershell script in Windows that lets me append marquee and videos to my XML file but I haven't found a true piece of software that lets me do large jobs.

Be damned if I have to edit an XML file for 800 titles. I'd rather gouge my eyes out.
