Cardboard Mini NES + Nes mini and Famicom mini themes

@darklordzach Hmm. I am genuinely curious why people ask for these systems that aren't playable on a Pi...
-
@hyruleslink There may be support for these systems under the win version of ES.

These systems are not a priority as they are not supported by retropie.

...on the pi ;)
-
@altieres-lima What font/templates are you using for those? Would like to throw together a few for systems (SuperGraphx, Scumm, TGCD) that are on the to do list as a temporary fix.
-
@necro, I found on Google pixel videogames.

Hello. Can you please not share modified versions of my theme.License
This theme is being actively developed, a great deal of work has been put into the theme and art so please do not use the graphics I have created in other projects (with the exception of any graphics that are an exact copy of of those from the real 'NES classic'/'Famicom mini' menu).
You are free to modify the theme for your personal use only - please do not share modified versions of this theme.
Commercial distribution is prohibited
-
From my setup, the only ones missing are:
Supergrafx
TG16 CD
Sega Mark III
Capcom Play System
Megadrive JapanI'll be very happy to see it completed as I suck at pixel art :)

I'm pretty surprised the NES Mini theme has an Amiga theme ready, but the Famicom Mini doesn't. (If I'm finding the right info, says Ruckage made both.) I'll be super happy when these are all said and done, this theme is wonderful. Is there anything we can possibly do to help you out with the theme?
-
@hi_im_daft Famicom Mini theme hasn't been updated in some time so you'll probably see a lot of things missing.
The only thing that people can do to help with this theme is to have patience. @ruckage has stated, ad nauseum, that he wants to complete this theme on his own.
-
I'm anxiously awaiting support for ScummVm, but would also like to request support for Frotz, the Z-machine interpreter. Something as simple as an Amber colored version of the DosBox graphics would more than suffice.
Can someone also point me in the right direction to getting the American style SNES graphics in place of the European ones? I've managed to figure out how to do so with the TurboGrafx, and the Genesis, but I'm at a loss with the SNES. I saw earlier in this thread that it has to be done by manually copying/renaming images, but I'm not sure where those images go.
@ruckage , thanks for the excellent work you've been doing. We're all thankful for this masterpiece of a theme!

As @LiveFastCyYoung said I haven't updated either of these themes for a while but the famicom theme in particular is a bit behind, part of the reason for this is I want to completely re-work the that theme as due to some ES improvements it could be made in a much more streamlined way so that will be my next step (I have a famicom that @FlyingTomahawk kindly sent me so I will definitely be going back to the Famicom theme fairly soon.)
To anyone following this thread I'm sorry for the lack of updates, it's for entirely selfish reasons as I've been busy working on my PC engine mod so that's been keeping me busy. I will however continue working on these themes in the future - I haven't abandoned them.
-
@ruckage NESmini is by far my favorite theme! Keep up the good work! Any chance you could add appleII to the to-do list? No rush though, I can wait for good quality work such as yours.
-
Hi @ruckage, wonderful themes and such attention to detail - thanks for all the hard work involved.
-
Hi @ruckage will there be a possibility for you to create a Sega Saturn folder icon? I noticed that you created one for the Megadrive and x32 but not Saturn.
Dave
-
@davec2020 Because Saturn is unplayable on the Pi.
-
@ruckage Hello, it's me again :) You may recognize me from the SNES mini thread. Visit that thread for more info; basically these are steam icons for this theme (I decided to make NES mini versions of that too!)
MOCKUP SCREENSHOT:
(I do not have the ability to take a screenshot on my raspberry pi, at least I don't know how; thus, this is a mockup screenshot I created. Some things in this mockup will appear lower quality than they would if you imported the assets correctly into retropie. The largest inaccuracy in this screenshot is the "2 games available" text, as it is a different font)DOWNLOAD (readme included)

OTHER NOTES:
For you SNES-Classic theme users, look no further than here!
I hope you enjoy! This is my first time posting on this website, let me know if this is the wrong place. -
Do you have an estimate of how many grams it is? (Without the Pi in it)
Thanks,
