Floob's mame config don't work on my Retropie
-
Hi Floob,
To get a better view of what I mean, let me show you the pics instead...
I changed the custom viewport of x, y, width and height and came up with this...
I want to know what if wrong with my settings and how can I get Floob's mame config to work on my pie.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks guys!

My configs are set to expect a 1080p output, you can see the size here:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/biscuits99/rp-video-manager/master/users/arcade-bezels/arcade-bezel-retroarch-configs/Done/digdug.zip.cfgAre you running on 720p?

@Floob Thanks for answering my question! Actually that's what I thought. But I know that my TV runs on 1080p, I don't know why my Retropie runs on 720p.
I used your automatic video manager and even though I selected 1080p, the result is still the same. And again I tried selecting 720p-- still the same.
Do you have a config that's compatible for 720p?
Thanks in advance. Really appreciate you're quick response.

@granderjoree
Did you choose the install option on the tool as well as the "Arcade-Bezels" option?
Which emulator are you using? -
-
Yes I chose the install option and the "Arcade-Bezels" option as well.

I'm using lr-mame2003
Thanks a lot Floob :)

I just gave it a quick go with a current version (early March 2017) of RetroPie and it works well for me.
There are some path changes, but symlinks are in place so it should work fine.I'm assuming the configs are being read ok as you are getting the overlay loading.
You could run this to see what modes your TV supportstvservice -modes=CEA
Or perhaps your retroarch file is hevaily modified if you have been using RGUI.
You could put on pastebin your/opt/retropie/configs/mame-libretro/retroarch.cfg
file so we can see if its got issues.
I'm assuming you havent edited your global retroarch file. -
Hi Chaps. Old thread I know but wondering if you guys got to the bottom of this?
I am running Pi 3 with retropie 4.3 on a 1080p HDTV and lr-mame2003.
Output resolution is set to 1080p/60 and when render resolution is also set to 1080p the bezels work perfectly (with some performance issues).
When my render resolution is set to 800x600 I have the same issues as OP.
Running the render res at 800x600 gives me super smooth scrolling whereas with 1920x1080 i get snatchy/glitchy scrolling.
Happy to provide more info, just wondered if there was something obvious that I am missing.
Great work Floob! Cheers
